Night and Day Stone Restoration

We just finished a major remodel and used 21 contractors, nine of which deserve special mention, including Night and Day Stone Restoration. The home had a truly ugly stone sink that, as they used to say in the 1990s, "was grody to the max." To replace it, would require either installing a completely new granite counter or finding an outfit capable enough to cut the existing granite opening to fit a new stainless steel sink. Thanks to Night and Day Stone Restoration we now have a trendy Elkay Crosstown stainless steel sink in our kitchen (see pix). Looks beautiful, doesn't it? :)

First of all, let me say... do NOT get Piedrafina Marble. It is a highly fragile surface that stains and etchs very easily. This is contrary to what our builder told us about this product... they said it was very easy to care for and came sealed. Our Piedrafina is only 2 years old and it all looked horrible. All the bathroom counters and master shower had bad etching marks from vinegar, facial cleanser, water glasses, bathroom cleaner bottles, etc.

Called and spoke with Dana to set up a quote. He sent Ubaldo out to take a look. Both guys are very nice and professional. I've never had this type of work done before, but the price seemed reasonable to me.

Let me say... WOW! Ubaldo did an awesome job. My bathroom counters and master shower look brand new. He was able to remove all the damage. I am amazed! He sealed them and told me how to seal them in the future. Highly recommend! Definitely worth the cost.

They did an outstanding job restoring our marble bathroom floor. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. They were very responsive to my initial call for an estimate, scheduling the job was easy, the workmen arrived early and did a great job. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Night and Day saved me a small fortune!!!

The floor was an embarrassment. It's 25 years old and past tenants never cleaned it properly. I actually considering replacing it.

A friend suggested having it cleaned professionally and the price was surprisingly affordable.

Dana at Night and Day quoted a price competitive the first time, no haggling, did everything they said they would do plus!

Professional servicemen moved all furniture and appliances. Cleaned, dried, and sealed! Offered advice for maintenance!

We moved into our new home a couple of months ago and the shower, marble countertops and tile flooring around the house had been neglected for 17 years by previous owners. There were water marks from cups and etching from cleaning liquids on the marble countertops in the master bath. The grout in the flooring were dirty and black in areas where there is a lot of traffic. They most likely wore shoes inside the house before. I called 3 companies to give me estimates for the master bath, shower/floor restoration. This was the only company that informed me what they could do realistically and how long it would take to complete the project, which would be about 4-5 days. The other 2 were your run of the mill restoration companies that estimated the whole job would only take 6-8 hrs. I knew then which one would be meticulous enough to work on my home. The quote was higher than the other 2 but to compare the amount of time and work allotted for the project, the price still came out to be fair with an outcome to our satisfaction. Dana was the one who came for the estimate. He's been very pleasant to deal with and had answered all my questions each time I texted him even on a Sunday evening. Him and his partner Ubaldo, a master craftsman, came to my house on the first day to check in and reassure me that they are in constant communication with their crew. Lorenzo was the lead tech, a pleasant and polite guy who respected my request to wear shoe covers inside my home at all times. The crew worked tirelessly everyday. Lorenzo tried to accommodate my requests within reason. They were able to remove the etching from one of the marble countertops in the master bath and everything looks so shiny like new. They cleaned, resealed and re stained our master shower that took 4 days to complete. The grout in the flooring were cleaned and re sealed and no longer black. The grout look so much better than before. Dana did not recommend staining the floor grout around the house because it would look fake and eventually peel off anyway, to which I agreed because I had my previous home's grout re-stained 3 times within the past 2 and a half years that eventually just peeled off 2 weeks from application, so it was just a waste of money. My master bath/shower, powder room and tile flooring are so clean and shiny when they were finished. We are very satisfied with their work and highly recommend their business.

Had my floors cleaned and restored did an excellent job! The floors look brand new. The price was reasonable will definitely use this company again.

We had several small chips on the edge of our dark gray quartz wet bar countertop. I contacted Night and Day in the hopes that the chips could be filled and blended to match the surrounding quartz. Ubaldo assessed the damage and recommended beveling the edge, which I hadn't even thought of. Not only did we not have to worry about matching filler, but the beveled edge would be stronger and thus more chip resistant going forward. Ubaldo and his team came out today and completed the job. Wow!! The beveled edge looks fantastic! My husband and I were 1000% pleased with how the counter looks and the quality of the work done. The entire team was neat, tidy and professional. The team also did a great job cleaning and sealing our other stone countertops in the kitchen. We will have them come back in the spring to clean, seal and repair our outdoor granite fire pit and BBQ area, as well as resurface/polish a marble bathroom vanity top that's been damaged by chemicals. I highly recommend this business!

Night & Day Stone Restoration sure lives up to its name. Ubaldo and his crew polished, sealed and restored almost 2,000 square feet of marble at our home, and the difference was truly night and day. We were amazed at how he restored damaged tiles and made our floors shinier than the day they were installed.. He and his team are very hard working and genuinely nice people. He takes great pride in his work and it shows.
